toochiemae I know its long overdue and they had online concerts already, but here I am doing my reactions for the songs in Hey! Say! JUMP's Fab! -Music Speaks- which was released December 16, 2020. As this is not a fresh reaction anymore (I was/ am still amazed on how beautiful all these songs here), I will still tell my opinions regarding each song. So without further ado...
1) Fab-ism
* The song that introduced the album, this song is so cute and really feels like fairytale. I love that we can appreciate the vocals of each member in this song.
2) I Am
* This single was released in February 2020 along with "Muah Muah". I first heard this song along with the MV. Whenever I hear this song I always feel that this is such an emotional song. Like there is a struggle or something is hindering a progress and its frustrating. Give this song a chance.
3) 狼青年 / Ookami Seinen
* This song surprised most of the netizens when the MV was released on Youtube. A lot of Tobikkos were speculating back then and I was one of them. I love the groove of this song and makes me want to howl along with them.
4) Muah Muah
* As this song was also previously released, I it really fits for a commercial song. I like the beat and do the gestures for blowing kisses. :* But my favorite is the performance still, is during the concert where Chinen is the center.
5) Senya Ichiya
* This song is included in the mystery-behind-the-song released on YT. The song is catchy and does have a fairytale vibe to it. This song is different from the JUMP songs I have heard. It feels like it came from an Arabian Nights story.
6) Your Song
* I have a reaction to this song included in the album with this song.
7) Jazzy Cut
*I like that this song can make me groove. It sounds mature for JUMP and it feels like they are really exploring lots of different song genres.
8) Snow White
* A lovely ballad that is calming, lullaby-ish. I like that each member has a part and you can distinguish each one.
9) Lair (Liar)
* The title itself confused me. Ha! Ha! Ha! It is so pop! I did understand "Uso" though.
10) Last Mermaid
* The song used for Matsu-nii and Inoo's drama. This song also makes me think that JUMP has matured.
11) MANTRA
* Chinen's favorite song! I also love this song because it feels like its telling a story and then making you feel strong ready to take the day. I love listening to this while taking a shower in the morning because it fills me up with energy.
12) Puppet
* I admit that I am not a fan of synthesizing voices. I was skeptic of this song until I watched the live/online concert. The rap part where Daiki & Yuto did was amazing! I was out of breath for it. I read somewhere that Chii suggested that only one person will do that long line.
13) Kiss Your Lips
* This song keeps up with the fairytale theme of the album. I want to kiss while dancing sweetly with my honey.
14) Otogi to Shiru Sekai / 御伽と知る世界
* This is a JUMP song! I always feel that songs that make one feel so happy and upbeat is very JUMP-ish.
15) Naimononedari / ナイモノネダリ
* I think I first heard this song on YT and Chi being the first looks so cute. This song make me feel nostalgic. A nice song to listen to when sitting on the sofa while raining.
16) Last Forever
* Another fairytale song. This one feels like that one will attend a ball and this is the invitation. I gladly accept if JUMP will be there.
17) Yami no Saki e Bokura wa Arukidesu / 闇の先へ僕らは歩き出す
* And this song bids farewell. That's what it feels, Its like they were saying goodnight and will go away shortly.
