This movie is something I did not expect that I would watch on a whim. I was drawn in by the synopsis given and became intrigued. I was having doubts as I continue to watch the movie. If I should continue at all. Because it really is creepy. Specially the neighbor's dad which was brilliantly played by Teruyuki Kagawa. He really gave me the creeps. I only know him as the head lawyer in the drama "99.9 Criminal Lawyer" and I am not familiar with his works. The actors and actresses were brilliant in their portrayal and delivery in that they draw you in and make you want to see what will happen next.
You can guess that there is something wrong in the new neighborhood where the couple moved in. One can guess that an anomaly will be noted with the neighbors. How the story progresses make me feel also frustrated in that the characters have reached a destination only to discover that another road will lead a way to the truth. In the end, this psychological suspense-thriller made me think of a quote from "Supernatural" - "Demons I get. People are crazy."
The ending is somewhat a happy one, but you'll be scarred for life. I need to watch a lighter movie before I can move on with this.
